Job Summary
As part of the SME Treasury Specialist team, you will be responsible for growing the FX portfolios. This impactful role will also support the framework, initiatives, and activities for (Small Medium Enterprise) SME's in line with the Group’s strategic direction for income growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the FX and wealth solutions (Retail Bond, Structured Investment and Unit Trust) revenue by engaging with SME (Small Medium Enterprise) clients and identifying FX opportunities.
- Support the sales process by partnering with (Small Medium Enterprise) SME RM, branch management to increase FX and wealth solutions transactions in achieving the target.
- Partnering with Small Medium Enterprise (SME) Relationship Manager in bringing in New to Bank (NTB) clients via community business visitations, roadshows, or other branched based sales activities.
- Effectively generating new business by identifying prospects and convert in line with the Bank’s appetite.
- Proactively building trusted client relationships by maintaining a portfolio of dynamic and growing customers.
- Build and expand existing client relationships through pro-active contact, account planning, wallet sizing and effective pipeline management.
- Exercise due care and diligence on matters related to Money Laundering and KYC in the day to day operations.
Our Ideal Candidate
- University Graduate
- A minimum of 5 years of FX sales, Treasury or SME Banking experience would be an advantage
- Having Investor Protection Professional Certification (IPPC) license is an added advantage
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Excellent planning and time management skills
- Attention to details
- Self motivated and results oriented
- Strong analytical skills
