Job description
Mission Details
  • Manage customer orders received, executing within the lead time by updating customers on delivery dates based on agreed prices and terms.
  • Select competitive 3rd party logistic providers for outgoing shipments.
  • Receive Sample Requisition Form notices via fax or e-mail directly from:
    • Customers
    • Distributors / Agents
    • Technical Personnel
  • Assist in filling up the form only for exceptional cases.
  • Update credit facilities in the SAP system and co-responsible with the sales department for collection of payment when necessary.
  • Process all sample requisitions within lead time for ex Europe/USA products on a specific web page.
  • Issue Debit/Credit Requisitions and perform general administration relating to customer service.
  • Update & maintain Price List, OTIF & DART for traded products.
  • Process respective customer inquiries to the relevant person in charge.
  • Prepare local shipping documents for customer clearance based on inter-company trade.
  • Upon receiving the Sample Requisition Form from the Technical department with samples ready, confirm the mode of dispatch.

Traded Product – Europe & USA

  • Receive customer orders, process, and communicate on customers' orders between customers in APAC and sister companies for traded products produced in Europe through the SAP system.
  • Coordinate with appointed forwarders upon cargo readiness for shipment.
  • Update credit facilities in the SAP system and co-responsible with the sales department for collection of payment when necessary.
  • Process all sample requisitions within lead time for ex Europe/USA products on a specific web page.
  • Issue Debit/Credit Requisitions and perform general administration relating to customer service.
  • Update & maintain Price List, OTIF & DART for traded products.
  • Process respective customer inquiries to the relevant person in charge.
  • Prepare local shipping documents for customer clearance based on inter-company trade.

Traded Product – China

  • Involves goods shipped & invoices directly to the customer from the Supplier (Arkema Coating Resins affiliate).
  • The customer places an order in favor of the Supplier and passes it on for confirmation before it is forwarded to the Suppliers.
  • Ensure related reports and tracking are well maintained.
  • Propose and execute new processes to support changing business requirements.
  • Take reasonable care for the health and safety of oneself and others, cooperate with superiors, wear or use personal protective equipment provided as appropriate, and comply with health and safety instructions as stipulated under Section 24 OSHA 1994. Undertake the following loss control responsibilities:
    • Identify potential hazards, gains, and possible improvements.
    • Report HSEQ near-misses, unsafe acts, and unsafe conditions to superiors or HSE personnel.
    • Report HSEQ incidents and accidents to superiors or HSE personnel.
    • Comply with the policies, legal regulations, Arkema requirements, rules, and procedures of one's sector applying to HSEQ.
Required Profile
  • Minimum SPM or Diploma Holder (Business Administration) with 3 years of working experience in manufacturing.
  • Good knowledge of the concept of MPS (Master Production Scheduling), logistic facilities, and trade exemptions.
  • Possess analytical skills and a positive mindset for improvement on specific tasks assigned.
  • Good interpersonal skills with a pleasant personality.
  • Good communication (written, verbal & presentation) and listening skills.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Basic knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001.
