Conduct site visits with follow-up proposals and reports to installation sites and interconnection facilities.
Possess sound knowledge in both DC & AC electrical systems and IT networking with experience in design, installation, troubleshooting, and re-engineering.
Prepare bill of materials (BOM) for DC, LV, & MV electrical systems and manage material purchases to ensure timely and adequate inventory until project completion.
Provide general and technical support throughout the entire tender process.
Initiate meetings with clients, consultants, authorities, management, and cross-departments from tender stage until project complete handover.
Liaise and manage sub-contractors regarding their scope of work, schedules, and monitoring workmanship quality during installation.
Record, implement, and manage design change requirements through submittals.
Work with internal and/or external parties such as consulting firms and authorities on licensing, permits matters, and documentation.
Liaise and coordinate with grid operators & authorities on the interconnection of MV/HV electrical systems to the power grid.
Experience with testing & commissioning of both DC & AC electrical systems. Able to troubleshoot and rectify problems during testing & commissioning.
Review project deliverables at every phase to ensure the project is within timeline and budget.
Implement best practices and safe work procedures that comply with authorities' rules and regulations throughout the project on-site.
Assist in organizing a post-mortem meeting for evaluation of project results, challenges faced, and provide recommendations for future improvements.
Well-versed in technical letter writing, reporting, presentations, and method of statement documentation.
Contribute, comply, and commit to the company Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental Management System by ensuring full compliance with International Standards, legal requirements, local regulations, and any code of practice.
Requirements
Degree in Electrical Engineering.
At least 1 year of experience in electrical industries such as electrical machinery maintenance, electrical product development, factory automation, M&E consultation, application engineering, or MV/HV equipment.
Basic knowledge of electrical systems.
Experience with AutoCAD.
Experience in C&I solar projects is an advantage.
Willingness to travel to job sites as needed.
Must have a car for work-related travel and site visits.
