A Day in Your Life at MKS:

As an IT Manager, Field Services at MKS, you will partner with Internal Teams & Stakeholders to ensure the organization's effective delivery, management, and improvement of IT services. You will oversee the IT team, manage incidents and changes, and align IT services with business goals to maintain high service quality and efficiency. In this role, you will report to the Regional Sr. IT Manager Field Services.

You Will Make an Impact By:

  • Overseeing the delivery of IT services to ensure they meet business needs and service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Ensuring IT services comply with relevant laws, regulations, and organizational policies.
  • Managing local asset inventory and ensuring compliance with Company standards.
  • Providing a bridge between security, technical staff, IT operations, and business leadership.
  • Managing knowledge documentation related to the role.
  • Developing and managing the IT service budget efficiently.
  • Coordinating projects related to the local region.
  • Working with Business Relationship Managers, Project Management Organizations, and business leadership to architect IT solutions to meet business requirements.
  • Conducting cost control activities including budgeting and the creation/approval of purchase requisitions and/or purchase orders.
  • Managing IT vendor relationships, which may be local, regional, or global, and participating in vendor governance activities.
  • Performing other related duties that may be assigned or associated with the responsibility of the position.
  • Traveling as needed to support all sites in the assigned geographic area.

Skills You Bring:

  • 10+ years of related experience, including management in support services structures and/or IT projects/solutions implementation, and construction projects/programs.
  • Excellent customer service mindset.
  • Working knowledge of Windows Client, GPOs, O365, Azure Active Directory, MFA, SSO, Hybrid Cloud, VDI, and ServiceNow.
  • Support/Management experience with Laptops/Desktops, Servers, Networks, Mobile Phones, and Printers.
  • Experience with large-scale implementations and integrations of corporate IT systems.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a positive can-do attitude both internally and externally.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and reporting skills.
  • Experience working in a global organization.
  • Experience in manufacturing environment IT support is a plus.
  • Project management experience is a plus.
