Program Engineer

Job Scope

1. To form the Customer Focus Team, coordinating and developing Project Schedule Plan, from the project start to the mass production.
2. To follow up with individual team members to ensure the completion of each task to the timeline.
3. To update customers on the project execution status.
4. To mitigate and escalate the risk to the timeline of the project.
5. To review the project cost and ensure the project is executed within the budget.
6. To follow up with customers on design and engineering/process changes.
7. Assist the engineers to coordinate projects on tooling, which includes liaison with customers on qualification of tools.
8. Implement changes based on changing demands and assist management in providing financial justification for projects yielding improvement for customer response.
9. Support project tasks, such as conducting inspections, preparing cost-benefit analyses, placing orders, verifying receipts, achieving target output, performing quality control checks, preventing product holds, and collaborating with managers and contractors.
10. Identify program technical risks during all phases of the program.
11. Author program plans, test plans, test reports, and program reports.
12. Support resolution of supply chain technical issues.
13. Support manufacturing to ensure successful execution of product assembly.
14. Plan, support, witness, and report on test activities.
15. Lead failure investigations to identify root causes and corrective actions.
16. Establish effective communication with customers.
17. Identify R&D continuous improvement plans.
