RECOVERY CUM ADMIN ASSISTANT (RECOVERY FOR STRATA MANAGEMENT)

About the role

As a Recovery Cum Admin Assistant at AI PROPERTY MANAGEMENT, you will play a crucial role in the company's strata management operations. In this full-time position based in Iskandar Puteri Johor, you will be responsible for managing debt recovery processes and providing administrative support to the team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic company and further develop your skills in the administrative and recovery fields.

What you'll be doing

  • Liaise with JMB/MC regarding Resident’s debt recovery
  • Coordinate and manage the debt recovery process for outstanding strata maintenance fees
  • Prepare and send demand letters, follow up on payments, and liaise with owners and tenants
  • Maintain detailed records of all recovery efforts and update the company's database accordingly
  • Negotiate repayment terms with owners in arrears and establish manageable payment plans
  • Provide administrative support including filing, document preparation, and correspondence
  • Assist with the organisation and maintenance of the company's physical and electronic records
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of efficient administrative processes
  • Provide excellent customer service to all stakeholders, including owners, tenants, and other external parties

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar administrative or recovery role, preferably in the property management or strata industry, but fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply
  • Minimum diploma or degree in Property Management, Real Estate, Business Administration, or a related field is a plus
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all work tasks
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with a problem-solving mindset
  • Basic knowledge of accounting needed
  • Must be able to travel for site visits / Tribunal case hearings
