About The Team

The Budgeting and Planning team is a strategic unit looking into analyzing merchant performance in the ShopeeFood business and providing recommendations to tap into opportunities that may arise from the studies. As a member of the team, you are required to have a strong affinity for data, and project management and the ability to work independently to generate meaningful insights and actionable strategies in ShopeeFood.

Job Description

1. Monitor and optimize business development and merchant performance to drive ShopeeFood’s growth.
2. Develop and execute strategic initiatives for business expansion.
3. Identify issues, develop hypotheses, gather and interpret data, execute analysis and present findings and strategic recommendations to key decision-makers.
4. Able to develop concrete and detailed project plans, including establishing timelines, project milestones/tasks, goals and resource planning.
5. Conduct market research, and engage merchant and internal staff to understand how we can better support Merchants and our Account Managers and Salespersons.
6. Work closely with internal teams to implement and coordinate the execution of related projects.
7. Manage Profit & Loss (P&L) statements, resources and projects with respect to the above responsibilities.
8. Other ad-hoc tasks as needed.

Requirements

1. Work experience in Performance Management, e-Commerce or Management Consulting.
2. Strong project management experience.
3. Structured, able to plan end-to-end execution of initiatives, and see through the implementation of the initiative.
4. Strong affinity to data, solid analytical abilities and critical thinking skills.
5. Strong business acumen and ability to generate insights independently.
6. Strong problem-solving skills, ability to draw insights from complex data and design practical and scalable solutions.
7. Able to deliver quality work under tight deadlines.
8. Driven and comfortable with a dynamic environment.
9. High Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
10. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
11. Strong people and stakeholder management skills.
