• Assist Warehouse Section leader to monitor and manage the performance of warehouse staff.
• Assist Warehouse Section leader to delegate tasks and responsibilities to ensure smooth operations.
• Monitor daily Warehouse Operations activities to ensure productivity and efficiency.
• Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records, and conduct regular inventory audits to reconcile discrepancies.
• Track inventory levels and coordinate with the Logistics Officer on the receipt and issuance of raw materials to production.
• Accurately enter data into the inventory management system (SAP), maintain up-to-date records of all warehouse transactions.
• Generate reports on inventory status, and warehouse activities, such as SMART program.
• Coordinate with Customer Service Department, Logistic and Purchasing Department to maximize existing limited bay for export/import shipments.
• Prepare monthly aging report for finished goods and raw materials.
• Prepare weekly and monthly inventory report for finished goods products.
• Responsible for month-end inventory reports.
• Assist Warehouse Section leader to implement programs to achieve AIMS objectives and targets.
• Assist the Warehouse Section leader to implement programs to achieve the department objectives and company health, safety and the environment management system objectives and targets.
• Ensure housekeeping inside the Warehouse and working area is well maintained.
• Participate as HSE Committee member to address issues pertaining to HSE to ensure mitigation measures are in place to prevent any incident or recurrence.
• Take reasonable care for health and safety of himself/herself and of other persons, cooperate with superiors, wear or use personal protective equipment provided as appropriate, and comply with health and safety instructions as stipulated under Section 24 OSHA 1994. Undertake the following loss control responsibilities;
1. Identify potential hazards, gains, and possible improvements.
2. Report HSEQ near-misses, unsafe acts, and unsafe conditions to immediate superior/HSE Section leader at the workplace.
3. Report HSEQ incidents and accidents to superior/HSE Section leader.
4. Comply with the policies, legal regulations, Arkema requirements, and rules and procedures of one's sector applying to HSEQ.
• Diploma in Logistics or Supply Chain Management with at least 2-3 years’ experience in a warehouse management role; or
• SPM with at least 5 years’ experience in a warehouse management role.
• Computer literate - Proficiency in warehouse management software (SAP) and MS Office Suite.
• Knowledge of inventory control practices and logistics.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with shipping and receiving procedures and documentation.
• Good level of written and spoken English.
