Senior Procurement Executive

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Procurement Executive to join our team at Flexi Versa Group Sdn. Bhd. in Johor Bahru, Johor. This full-time position plays a crucial role in managing the procurement and supply chain activities for our manufacturing operations.

What you'll be doing

• Responsible to drive sourcing, cost, and delivery.
• Interface with customer, BD, and Engineering to won RFQ with Supply Chain initiatives.
• Lead, plan & drive execution of all Procurement & Supply Chain activities.
• Manage Supply Chain Initiatives includes lead time improvement, payment term, delivery Terms, contractual agreement on SMI/VMI.
• Manage NPI and work closely with purchasing team to ensure material readiness to meet program schedules.
• Manage Cost Saving/redesign Initiatives (Lead, by accounts), take lead to drive on cost savings initiatives/redesign initiatives, price benchmark.
• Supporting on ECN implementation, tracking & execution.
• Manage localization plan, alternate sourcing activities.
• AOS Management during build phase and initial production phase.
• Any other tasks assigned by superiors or Management.

What we're looking for

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior procurement or supply chain role, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills with a proven track record of successful contract negotiations.
• Proficient in analysing complex data, identifying trends, and making data-driven decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Thorough understanding of procurement best practices, inventory management, and supply chain optimisation.
• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, or a related field.
