The General Manager will oversee technical project development within the organization, to include master planning/ site planning, feasibility studies, product development and design management, construction and asset management throughout the entire project lifecycle from conceptual design, design development through construction. The position will lead all design and technical initiatives and coordinate with all internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful execution of projects. He/she must demonstrate strong technical ability, local planning or relevant international standards and design compliance, and strong design management skills to drive the projects.

Job Description:

• Lead, manage and support the Project Development team to achieve successful development of Green Bestari Park according to the approved Business Plan/ Feasibility Study Parameters in terms of project planning, project management, financial management, and project delivery.
• Identify strategic partners and talents, build and retain the team to continue deliver ongoing projects and adequate resource planning for future pipelines.
• Build appropriate system, capability profile and network representative of Mitbana’s positioning as first tier-developer
• Maintain mass construction timeline of Residential and Commercial projects within targeted cost and quality.
• Collaborate with Sales/ Marketing and Leasing to complete the first commercial development at Green Bestari Park meeting the phased development timeline and marketing program milestones and timelines.
• Complete residential show units in designated timeline and in superior quality.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies related to design and technical services, incorporating relevant advancements into project planning and execution.
• Collaborate with internal departments, including Operations, Sales/ Marketing, Finance, and HR, to ensure alignment of project objectives and deliverables with organizational goals.
• Implement quality assurance measures to monitor and evaluate project progress, identifying and addressing any issues or deviations from project requirements.
• Prepare and present regular updates and reports on project status, milestones, and key performance indicators to stakeholders and management.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization within the design and technical services function, implementing best practices and efficiency measures to enhance project outcomes.
• Promote Sustainability Initiatives, to promote sustainable construction practices & the resulting built environment.

Job Specification:

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Project Management, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in design and technical project management, with a minimum of 5 years in Owner’s Representative function in construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of architectural and engineering principles, building codes, and construction standards.
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to plan, organize, and execute complex projects within defined timelines and budgets.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, and other design software; familiarity with BIM technologies is desirable.
• Leadership and team management abilities, with a proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and delivering successful project outcomes.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues, evaluate options, and implement effective solutions.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and excellence in project delivery.

• Contract: 3 Years
