Business, Marketing, and Corporate Strategies & Plans
Ideate, develop, enhance, implement, and maintain FGV Group’s strategic blueprint and high-level business plan across all business divisions.
Lead market research and industry intelligence, including economic and market outlook, industry outlook, product and business life cycle, and business intelligence including marketing strategy and plan for all businesses.
Provide consultation and advisory work for all business units on investments, divestments, corporate finance, investor relations, and strategy and business plan development matters.
Build and maintain long term relationships with industry players for existing and potential future strategic collaborations.
Design, implement, and monitor the group’s corporate KPIs.
Business Development (incl. New Product Development), Corporate Finance (incl. Investments & Divestments), and Value Management
Ideate, evaluate, and execute new business growth opportunities, investments and divestments, aligned with Strategic Blueprint.
Negotiate with potential equity partners, business associates, and various other parties throughout the whole investment and divestment process.
Lead all corporate exercises within the group including matters relating to Bursa, SC, and other regulatory bodies.
Design and build financial models, and various other financial evaluation and feasibility studies.
Oversee overall due diligence exercises and feasibility studies.
Build and maintain long term relationships with various financial, legal, and business advisors to support various corporate exercises implemented by the group.
Build network of contract manufacturers and contract farmers to ensure sustainability of supply of raw materials and explore product enhancement and cost optimisation opportunities.
Establish, monitor, and report performance of projects including post investment and divestment activities, strategic and business development initiatives and its implementation.
Analyse equity and operational structures and shareholdings dynamics in the context of maximizing shareholders' value.
Execute business development activities for business growth purposes for the whole group by leveraging on networking strength locally and at an international level.
Strategic Thinking & New Product Development Incubator
Develop internal entrepreneurship talent pool by developing new products from ideation to commercialisation.
Strengthen strategy talent pool to be well equipped in areas of Strategic Thinking, Investments, and Corporate Finance.
Enhance group's capabilities in corporate finance and investments, financial modelling, and various other financial evaluation tools and feasibility study techniques.
Enhance talent pool's thought process, negotiation and structuring capabilities, writing skills, and quality of proposals.
Special P&C Projects and Advisory
Support Group CEO on highly confidential and strategic matters, such as leading and executing all highly confidential projects, proposals, and corporate exercises which may involve government-to-government (“G2G”) or government-linked to government-linked / non-government linked companies from various other nations which would have long-term macroeconomic impact to Malaysia as a whole.
Enhance and maintain the standards of the group’s proposal papers, and advise on proposal papers' thought process, structure, and approach.
Oversee accuracy of financial models developed by financial modellers across the group.
Investor Relations (“IR”)
Engage and manage key stakeholders, analysts, financial media, fund managers, and government bodies (e.g. PM Office, MOF, MAFS, MOE, and FELDA) on performance and strategies.
Drive IR activities including Annual Integrated Report (AIR), quarterly results, AGM, EGM, compile market feedback, and respond to key news.
Participate in investment events, corporate days, investor visits, and roadshows.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or professional qualification in Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, Economics, Islamic Finance, Actuarial Science, Engineering, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
Extensive experience in business strategy, management, corporate finance, or consultancy, preferably across multiple industries.
Strong analytical skills with a solid understanding of market dynamics and operational strategies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
Proven ability to think strategically and execute plans while being adaptable to changing business environments.
