ECCO Malaysia is seeking a Senior (Retail) Marketing Executive to drive retail marketing initiatives across Singapore and Malaysia. This role requires a strategic and hands-on marketer who can build strong relationships with mall management teams, department stores, and key retail partners to ensure ECCO’s marketing efforts align seamlessly with their promotional strategies.
The ideal candidate will have experience in developing and executing retail marketing plans that enhance brand visibility, drive foot traffic, and boost sales. Retail Marketing & Partnerships
- Build and maintain strong relationships with mall marketing teams, department stores, and key retail partners to ensure ECCO’s in-store activations align with their promotional efforts.
- Develop and execute a cohesive retail marketing plan that integrates with the overall brand marketing strategy and maximizes brand visibility across retail touchpoints.
- Negotiate and secure prime opportunities for brand collaborations, in-mall advertising, event sponsorships, and seasonal campaigns that align with ECCO’s business objectives.
- Work closely with retail partners to optimize customer engagement initiatives, brand activations, and promotional events at store locations.
Campaign Execution & In-Store Activations
- Develop and implement in-store marketing strategies to drive traffic, increase conversion rates, and enhance customer experience.
- Manage end-to-end execution of seasonal campaigns, product launches, and in-store activations, ensuring alignment with mall and department store promotional calendars.
- Work with internal teams and retail partners to ensure seamless execution of marketing initiatives, including point-of-sale (POS) materials, in-store signage, and experiential activations.
Brand Experience & Visual Merchandising Coordination
- Collaborate with the Visual Merchandising team to ensure store presentation and in-store marketing displays align with brand and retail partner requirements.
- Oversee the implementation of brand storytelling and experience-driven activations in stores to elevate ECCO’s positioning in the market.
- Ensure that all retail marketing touchpoints reflect brand consistency and a premium shopping experience.
Customer Engagement & CRM Integration
- Work closely with the CRM and digital teams to integrate retail marketing efforts with customer engagement strategies (e.g., loyalty programs, in-store promotions, and customer retention initiatives).
- Support the implementation of data-driven marketing initiatives, leveraging insights from ECCO’s CRM to enhance store-level activations and promotions.
Budget & Performance Tracking
- Manage the retail marketing budget for Singapore and Malaysia, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources while maximizing ROI.
- Track and analyze campaign effectiveness using key performance indicators (KPIs), including foot traffic, sales impact, customer engagement, and brand exposure.
- Provide regular reports and insights on retail marketing performance, offering recommendations for optimization and future improvements.
Experience & Skills
- Minimum 4-6 years of experience in retail marketing, brand marketing, or trade marketing within the fashion, footwear, or lifestyle industry.
- Proven track record of successfully liaising with malls, department stores, and retail partners to develop joint marketing initiatives.
- Strong project management and execution skills with the ability to lead multiple campaigns across different locations.
- Experience in brand experience marketing, in-store activations, and experiential campaigns is a strong advantage.
- Familiarity with visual merchandising principles and how they integrate into retail marketing strategies.
- Knowledge of CRM and loyalty programs to drive customer engagement at retail locations.
- Strong analytical skills to measure campaign success and optimize performance.
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Marketing, Communications or a related discipline
- Required to travel 40%

- Proficiency in PC operation; Microsoft office package
