As an audit associate, your job responsibilities will include:
Handling audit assignments, conducting audit procedures, and collecting adequate documentation to support the audit opinion.
Supporting audit senior and/or audit manager to report on audit work status, progress, and critical issues.
Documenting and compiling audit work papers and obtaining sufficient audit evidence to support the engagement partner's sign-off of the client's financial statements.
Contributing actively to all activities of the audit department.
Any other assignments and tasks from the superior which are deemed appropriate and relevant.
Ad hoc tasks given by superior from time to time.
Qualifications Requirement
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
Preferably 1 to 2 years of experience. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
On-the-job training will be provided.
Possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
Passion for quality work.
Familiarity with accounting and auditing standards and a passion for continuous learning.
Competency in Microsoft Office and computer literacy.
Language: Bahasa Malaysia, English; Mandarin will be an added advantage (liaise with Chinese clients).
