Description
- Financial Planning, Reporting, and Analysis:
- Oversee transaction documentation, ensuring GAAP and SOP compliance.
- Prepare monthly financial reports, manage reconciliations, and ensure timely audits.
- Lead budget preparation and provide analysis and forecasts to senior management.
- Monitor expenses, ensuring alignment with approved budgets, and conduct cost analysis.
- Assess financial models for potential partnerships and identify risks and synergies.
- Banking and Cash Flow Management:
- Review bank reconciliations and manage supplier payments.
- Optimize cash flow and direct surplus funds to Fixed Deposits.
- Utilize credit facilities to mitigate currency risks.
- System and ERP Management:
- Lead ERP development and improvements. SAP driven.
- Manage financial systems to streamline operations.
- Asset Management:
- Ensure proper documentation and accounting for asset procurement.
- Taxation and Statutory Compliance:
- Ensure timely tax filings and compliance with statutory requirements.
- Manage annual tax returns, transfer pricing, and audits.
- Tax Audits:
- Lead tax audits and address inquiries from authorities.
- Implement corrective actions and process improvements.
- Transfer Pricing Compliance:
- Maintain transfer pricing documentation and ensure regulatory alignment.
- Advise on transfer pricing strategies and stay updated on regulations.
- E-Invoicing Implementation and Compliance:
- Oversee e-invoicing to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Collaborate with IT to ensure system integration and data accuracy.
- Secretarial Functions:
- Manage board resolutions, filings, and statutory documentation.
- Oversee dividend processing in line with policies.
- Team Stability and Mentoring:
- Set team KPIs and foster accountability.
- Provide mentorship, career development, and encourage team collaboration.
- Identify potential leaders for succession planning.
Profile
- Degree in Finance and Accounting
- Preferably Chartered Accountant (CPA, ACCA, CIMA, ICAEW etc)
- Min 10 years experience in finance, with 5 years leadership experience
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to be hands-on and also strategic to drive business direction
- Preferably coming from FMCG/Retail/Pharma/Medical Device
