About the role

Tan'ck Architect' is seeking a talented and experienced Project Architect to join our dynamic team in Kuala Lumpur. As a full-time Project Architect, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional architectural designs and overseeing the successful completion of various projects. This position offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, from high rise commercial developments to residential, and contribute to the growth and success of our company.

What you'll be doing

• Leading the Design Teams to develop and design architectural plans and models that meet the client's requirements and adhere to industry standards and regulations.
• Collaborating with clients, consultants, and other stakeholders to understand project objectives and translate them into functional and aesthetically pleasing designs.
• Overseeing the implementation of architectural designs, ensuring the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Coordinating with consultant teams, including engineers, construction managers, and contractors, to ensure seamless project execution.
• Conducting site visits, monitoring progress, and addressing any issues or challenges that arise during the construction phase.
• Staying up-to-date with the latest architectural trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve the quality of your work.
• Mentoring and supporting junior architects and designers within the team.
• Reviewing Architectural Design, Plans and Details to ensure all are in order before issuing.

What we're looking for

• A bachelor's or master's degree in Architecture or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Architect, with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex architectural projects, i.e., high-rise buildings.
• Proficient in architectural software, such as AutoCAD and SketchUp. Familiar with BIM tools. Other basic computer skills are compulsory, i.e., MS Office and Project, Adobe Suites.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to navigate challenges and find innovative solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Thorough understanding of building codes, regulations, and industry best practices.
• Passion for architecture and a commitment to delivering high-quality, sustainable design.
