Position Overview

As a Business Operations Specialist, you will assist in the coordination and execution of key operations across the Project Management, Procurement, and Customer Experience departments. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks, and a passion for driving operational excellence. You will work closely with the Business Operations Director and cross-functional teams to support the execution of business strategies and contribute to improving efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Support: Assist in the coordination of day-to-day operations across the Project, Procurement, and Customer Experience departments, ensuring smooth execution of tasks and alignment with business goals.
  • Process Optimization: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency. Work closely with relevant teams to streamline workflows, reduce costs, and ensure effective resource utilization.
  • Project Coordination: Support the management of key projects across various departments, helping to track progress, meet deadlines, and ensure deliverables are met. Assist in the communication of project status to stakeholders.
  • Procurement Assistance: Support procurement activities by ensuring that procurement processes are followed, tracking orders, and liaising with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Customer Experience Support: Assist in the execution of customer service initiatives to improve satisfaction and customer loyalty. Help monitor customer feedback and recommend strategies for improvement.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Collect and analyse operational data to provide insights into performance. Assist in preparing regular reports for the Business Operations Director, highlighting key trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
  • KPI Monitoring: Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) across the Project Management, Procurement, and Customer Experience departments to ensure alignment with business objectives. Regularly evaluate department performance and suggest improvements based on KPI data.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with different teams within the business, ensuring effective communication and cooperation across departments to meet business objectives.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the Business Operations Director, including preparing documentation, scheduling meetings, and maintaining operational records.

Key Qualifications:

  • Prior experience (1-3 years) in business operations, project management, procurement, or customer service, preferably within the retail or fashion industry.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
  • Basic understanding of project management methodologies and procurement processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with business management software is a plus.
  • A detail-oriented and proactive approach to work, with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing business needs.
