ITSM Project Coordinator, Senior Business Analyst

Our Senior Business Analysis team collects and analyzes requirements and solves client problems using solutions. It serves as a liaison between Avanade clients and consultants, particularly during initial project phases.

The onsite IT PMO is a resource who helps the IT Project Manager or IT Asset/Workstream Lead to coordinate and run day-to-day tasks related to project management or service improvement projects, ensuring activities are followed up and delivered successfully on time, as well as any escalation and coordination to the respective team.

What you’ll do

• Setup and conduct follow-up project/service improvement meetings, prepare meeting agendas, and take Minutes of Meeting (MoM).
• Track MoM and follow up on outstanding actions/tasks from the respective team.
• Coordinate and conduct various engagements between Central IT, Accenture/ISP, or vendors, including but not limited to:
• Pre and post IT Assurance (ITA) review, Stage Gate Review, vendor execution follow-up, Petronas Cloud checklist review.
• Coordinate and follow up with the respective project team to ensure all documents related to the project are current and up to date in the project repository.
• Align project scheduling: Work with IT PM to streamline the actual project schedule along with required resource availability.
• Coordinate and follow up with respective stakeholders/vendors and compile project budget or estimation cost from business or vendor for further IT review.
• Review and consolidate IT meetings between Central IT and Asset IT, and streamline and establish integrated meetings.
• Coordinate with Central IT on any “key global projects” for local Asset rollout (e.g., Patch/OS upgrade, security remediation, etc.).
• Represent Asset IT in “key Central IT” meetings and provide updates on key activities or work progress or follow up.
• Record, track, and follow up on all records in the scrum master repository.

About you

Characteristics that can spell success for this role

• Degree in an IT-related domain with a background and experience in IT infrastructure.
• Minimum 5 years in an IT project management role.
• Project management certification is optional.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
• Attention to detail, able to multitask, good problem-solving and time management skills.
• Able to work across different time zones, subject to further arrangement.
