Job description
Job Responsibilities
- Provide efficient day-to-day support to the Purchasing team;
- Liaise with suppliers for quotation requests;
- Responsible for clerical and administrative duties, such as issuing purchase orders, tracking contract schedules and reviewing invoices;
- Keep track of inventory and delivery statuses;
- Perform any ad-hoc tasks assigned by superiors;
- Able to handle sensitive information appropriately and maintain confidentiality.
Job Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree or equivalent;
- Required languages: English, Bahasa Malaysia, Bahasa Cina (To liaise with suppliers from a Bahasa Cina-speaking majority);
- Fresh Graduates / Entry-level Applicants Are Encouraged To Apply;
- Candidate must possess excellent planning and organisation skills, communication skills and be deadline sensitive;
- Able to work independently as well as in groups.
