Site Engineer Electrical (Green)

Location: Subang Jaya
Pay range: MYR 3,200 – MYR 4,500

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

1. Bachelor's degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
2. 1-2 years of relevant work experience in the field; experience with power substations is preferred.
3. Previous experience in site management and planning is advantageous.
4. Willingness to travel or be based at the project site as required.
5. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and computer literacy with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
6. A positive work attitude, with the ability to organize, plan, meet deadlines, and work effectively under pressure; willing to put in extra hours when needed.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

1. Oversee and ensure the project is completed profitably and successfully, managing all aspects to ensure a positive outcome.
2. Execute and monitor electrical works on-site, including planning, coordination, material ordering, delivery, and stock control, to ensure efficient project progress.
3. Ensure the project meets the required quality standards by closely supervising subcontractors and site personnel, taking immediate corrective action to address any deficiencies.
4. Participate in project site meetings with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and relevant authorities to ensure smooth project execution and resolve any issues.
5. Prepare and submit monthly Project Progress Reports to the client, consultant, or management to track project performance and updates.
6. Manage and supervise all subordinate staff on the project site, ensuring effective team coordination and task execution.
7. Undertake all duties, tasks and responsibility as required by the management.
