About the Role

You will oversee food deliveries, assisting drivers by addressing their concerns, responding to their inquiries, and providing effective solutions. Additionally, you will regularly coordinate with our partner restaurants and caterers to ensure a seamless pickup process.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Delivery Coordination and Scheduling
   • Plan and schedule next-day deliveries with drivers to ensure all orders are acknowledged and accepted.
   • Assist in itinerary planning for Tuesday and Thursday deliveries.
2. Daily Delivery Monitoring
   • Monitor delivery progress to ensure timely execution and adherence to schedules.
   • Identify and resolve issues faced by drivers/vendors with prompt action and communication.
3. Driver Supervision and Performance Management
   • Supervise a fleet of drivers, ensuring smooth daily operations, adherence to SOPs, and timely task completion.
   • Implement and enforce disciplinary measures and penalties for non-compliance.
   • Provide clear and concise instructions to drivers and ensure effective communication of schedules and policies.
4. Compliance and Quality Assurance
   • Ensure drivers comply with hygiene, branding, customer service, and safety standards.
   • Monitor and maintain the quality of the overall delivery experience.
5. Team Leadership and Training
   • Lead and motivate the driver team to ensure operational efficiency and a positive work environment.
   • Identify training needs and organize appropriate training sessions for drivers.
6. Process Improvement
   • Develop and implement mechanisms to enhance the overall delivery experience and operational efficiency.
7. Record Maintenance and Reporting
   • Maintain accurate and efficient records for the Logistics Operations Department.
   • Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on operational progress and challenges.
8. Stakeholder Coordination
   • Collaborate with managers, planners, internal teams, and external customers to support and optimize daily delivery operations.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in logistics, transportation, or delivery operations.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to plan, prioritize, and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with delivery management software and tools is an advantage.
