Perform engineering design appraisal for electrical, instrumentation, and telecommunication by reviewing design calculation, drawings, datasheets, specifications, etc., ensuring compliance with relevant International Codes and Standards.
Perform necessary project audits, e.g., Project Independent Review (PIR), etc.
Support plant assurance and FFS projects, ensuring quality and technical input of the work.
Communicate, monitor, and oversee the execution of the projects with the project team members.
Accountabilities
Approve and certify E&I engineering design, inclusive of procurement, assembly, testing, and commissioning, that is in conformity to International Codes and Standards.
Highlight E&I engineering design, inclusive of procurement, assembly, testing, and commissioning, that is not in conformity to International Codes and Standards.
Consult ELEC Leader and/or N+1 on decision-making on operation and commercial matters.
Consult ELEC Leader and/or Technical Manager on decision-making on technical and quality matters.
Educational Requirement
Possess a Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications
Having 4-6 years of working experience.
Preferably at least 5 years of energy-related Engineering EPC activities (i.e., Solar PV, BESS, Hydrogen, ATEX, EMC, Functional Safety), in Electrical/Instrumentation/Telecommunication.
Familiar with appropriate computer software (ETAP, etc.), COMPANY Specifications (Petronas PTS, Shell DEP, TotalEnergies, etc.), and codes (IEC/EN/API/MS).
