Order Administrator
The Order Administrator is responsible for ensuring all incoming documentation is received and orders are generated for processing. This role requires assisting the Planner in customer liaison and scheduling matters, following up and resolving issues that arise in the EO Process, and being involved in Continuous Improvement activities and the implementation of quality-related systems. Additionally, this role may require carrying out office administration and human resource tasks in the absence of HR personnel.
Duties
- Ensure adequate customer and incoming check documentation is received for each consignment to enable order creation in the system.
- Generate customer orders and obtain QA release in a timely manner to acquire the processing paperwork.
- Review EO processing batch reports.
- Monitor and update all items in the system and create any new items as required.
- Assist the Planner in customer liaison on routine production and scheduling matters and deputize for the Planner as needed.
- Assist the Planner in liaising with the Production Assistant for work performance monitoring and issue resolution.
- Perform all other responsibilities that are commensurate with experience and qualifications as assigned by the superior.
Continued Duties
- Support and participate in Continuous Improvement activities as required.
- Comply with company rules and policies, safety policies, QA procedures, Lean Activity, and SOPs.
- Ensure office supplies, including stationery, pantry stock, and staff personal protection equipment, are sufficiently stocked.
- Assist in office administration work, including receiving and distributing mail and answering and diverting incoming telephone calls.
- Prepare rooms and refreshments for company-organized activities, including training and meetings.
- Assist HR in staff-related arrangements as required.
- Monitor and control external contractor services, including Cleaning Service, Security Service, Hygiene Service, and any other tasks assigned by the superior.
Education Degree
Bachelor's Degree or High School Diploma/GED in a related field.
Required Experience
- At least 1 year of working experience in a related field.
- Team player with a mature personality, able to work independently.
- Able to coordinate and supervise shift and routine activities.
- Experience in clerical and administrative work.
