Product Engineer in Penang, Malaysia(Open for Fresh Graduates)

Job Description

• Define the characterization tests for products to ensure full coverage of the products’ performance and quality before release.
• Responsible for the characterization of the products to ensure meeting published specs on Datasheet & ensuring on time delivery with the results.
• Work closely with diverse team to understand newly developed products from the start until product release while aligning with project milestones.
• Develop & define new product test plan & test limits to ensure full test coverage.
• Responsible for golden units’ generation and production testers’ buyoff.
• Perform in-house product testing to meet customer’s sample requirements.
• Handle customer returns by performing electrical analysis & failure analysis within specific turn-around time.
• Responsible for root cause analysis of low yield issues in production.
• Apply engineering knowledge and trouble-shooting techniques to solve problems related to hardware / software / products & propose feasible innovative solutions.

Job Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Professional Degree, Master's Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent.
• Able to work independently & as a cross-functional team member.
• Knowledgeable in statistical tools such as Minitab & Excel charts.
• Knowledgeable in CMOS & mixed signal circuits.
• Knowledge in C++ & Matlab programming will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge in script writing for data processing.
• Passionate about discovering more in the field of optical navigation.
• Strong analytical skills are required. Good report writing & presentation skills.
