Housekeeping Supervisor

Responsibilities

1. To conduct regular inspections and scheduled cleaning audits at clients’ premises around Klang Valley.
2. To maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene at clients’ premises.
3. To meet and exceed clients’ expectations.
4. To ensure compliance with safety and sanitation policies in all areas.
5. To respond to concerns and requests with a sense of urgency and take necessary corrective action including timely follow-up, and to escalate major issues/challenges to superior for immediate actions.
6. To brief cleaning crew on cleaning SOP, tidiness, and hygiene standards.
7. To check that all cleaning equipment is functional, clean, well maintained and properly stored.
8. To ensure adequate supply of chemicals and keep proper record on movement of cleaning inventories.
9. To monitor staff grooming, discipline and performance.
10. To meet and report to superior on weekly basis.
11. To submit audit reports, weekly and monthly reports to the management.
12. To replace/support Site Supervisor when necessary.
13. To monitor and mobilize replacement/relief cleaners as necessary.
14. To support new projects and assist on recruitment activities.
15. To conduct trainings (OJT) for the Supervisor and cleaning crews.

Job Requirements

1. Candidate must possess a minimum SPM Certificate or higher.
2. Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience.
3. Good knowledge in housekeeping processes and procedures.
4. Able to work independently and travel within Klang Valley.
5. Possess a fine attention to detail.
6. Good leadership and interpersonal skills.
7. Good communication skills in Bahasa Melayu and English.
8. Experience in handling chemicals and machinery would be an advantage.
