Manager Category Management

Support to develop and implement commodity and supplier strategy. Establish commodity and supplier strategy with alignment from operations. Drive implementation together with relevant stakeholders and suppliers.

Job Description

In your new role you will:

• Commodity sourcing for new development and alternative sources. Sourcing of global market for the best supplier and solution that fulfill Infineon's product requirements while ensuring security of supply.
• Cost analysis, cost modeling, and benchmarking of managed commodity. Develop a good understanding of commodity cost model to enable comprehensive value analysis and comparison amongst suppliers' offerings.
• Analysis of supply market and develop market intelligence. Consistent survey of market status and provide recommendations to management to take relevant actions according to market trends.
• Supplier management and development. Ensuring proper implementation of supplier management process including phase in/out, evaluation, consequence, and relationship management with site procurement.
• Drive continuous improvement of cost, quality, and delivery of suppliers in alignment with stakeholders at operation and development.
• Supply crisis and recovery management. Drive management of supply crisis and recovery management when required with site Procurement.
  
  

Your Profile

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• Bachelor Degree qualification.
• 5 years of working experience in a strategic procurement role in any high-tech industry or others with 8 years experience in semiconductor industry.
• Possess strong strategic and analytical mindset with good communication skills to build a wide business network internally and externally independently in driving success of category and supplier strategy.
