Service Crew (Waiter/ Waitress)

Job Responsibility

1. Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service.
2. Assist customers in choosing coffee and other beverage options.
3. Take and prepare customer orders accurately.
4. Have a thorough understanding of the cafe's menu, including coffee options, pastries, and other items.
5. Make recommendations to customers based on their preferences.
6. Input customer orders into the POS system.
7. Coordinate with kitchen or other crew members for food orders.
8. Ensure orders are prepared correctly and served promptly.
9. Process customer payments accurately, including cash, credit cards, and mobile payment apps.
10. Provide customers with receipts and return change as needed.
11. Keep the coffee preparation area, service counter, and dining area clean and well-organized.
12. Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations to maintain a safe and clean environment.
13. Follow safety protocols for handling hot beverages and equipment.

Job Requirements

1. Minimum qualification of Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM)/STPM or equivalent.
2. Preferably 1-2 years of relevant working experience in the food and beverage industry or equivalent. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply too.
3. Strong business knowledge in retail management, sales and marketing, and customer services.
4. Good command of verbal and written English and Bahasa Malaysia languages; the ability to speak additional languages will be an added advantage.
5. Enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic with a genuine desire to provide outstanding service.
6. Must be willing to work on shifts (retail hours), weekends, and public holidays.
7. Open for Malaysian citizens only.
