Head of Manufacturing

Responsibilities:

1. Fully responsible for the company’s manufacturing operations; the initial factory workforce is expected to be around 10–20 people.
2. Develop and implement annual, quarterly, and monthly production plans based on the company’s operational goals and strategies.
3. Plan and establish a production management system, ensuring full responsibility for employees, equipment, materials, regulations, and environmental compliance. Oversee production planning, resource allocation, and delivery scheduling.
4. Manage quality and safety in the production process, ensuring the implementation of all quality measures.
5. Continuously improve production efficiency and reduce manufacturing costs.
6. Guide, supervise, and inspect the work of factory employees, keeping track of work progress and relevant data.
7. Responsible for the organization and development of manufacturing talent.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree required; good English reading and writing skills, and proficiency in spoken Chinese.
2. At least 5 years of experience in an electronics manufacturing plant; experience in setting up a new factory is preferred.
3. Familiar with factory operations, cost control, and logistics management.
4. Knowledge of the electronics and automotive industries, as well as relevant local laws and regulations.
5. Understanding of ISO quality management systems and 6S on-site management, with experience in lean manufacturing practices.
6. Familiar with ISO9001, IATF16949, or VDA6.3 standards.
7. Malaysian citizen preferred or Chinese being with Malaysian local market and people.

Work Location:

1. Factory location is under selection; preference for areas with established SMT (Surface Mount Technology) facilities and convenient logistics.
