Transport Analyst

We are currently seeking a Transport Analyst to join DHL eCommerce Malaysia in Puchong!

The Transport Analyst will be responsible for analyzing transportation costs, evaluating performance efficiency, and identifying areas for process improvements. They work with data to support decision-making and ensure cost-effective and efficient movement of goods and services.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Data Analysis & Reporting

• Monitor and analyze transportation expenses, including fuel costs, driver wages, vehicle maintenance, tolls, and third-party logistics fees.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities through route optimization, supplier negotiations, and alternative transport solutions.
• Prepare reports on cost trends and recommend strategies to improve profitability.

Performance Management

• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery rate, vehicle utilization, fuel efficiency, and shipment accuracy.
• Identify inefficiencies in transport operations and suggest improvements.

Project Support

• Assist in special project related to transport

People Management

• To communicate and attend request from depot and transport team
• To communicate and maintain good relationship with vendor and internal stakeholders

Desired Skills / Qualifications

• Knowledge of logistics, supply chain, and transportation regulations.
• Meticulous and good attention to details for analyzing data
• Basic operations task, at least 6 months experience, good in communication and manage to deliver to ground operation to comply
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in transportation analysis, logistics, or a related field.
• Ability to work with large datasets and derive meaningful insights.

Minimum Educational Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistic, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
