Position Summary:

An opportunity currently exists for an experienced Regional Buyer - IT to join our team responsible for managing commercial and sourcing activities for IT services used by Nestlé worldwide.

Reporting to the Global Category Lead, your primary responsibility will be to implement the category strategy on a regional & global level - utilizing strategic sourcing processes, tools and policies. You will also manage RFx processes & take ownership of managing key projects (e.g. process optimization, e-auction).

Located in hubs in Switzerland, Panama and Malaysia, our people provide a range of services, including managing the procurement of raw materials, packaging, indirect materials and other services. We also support Nestlé businesses across the world to manage local spend.

A day in the life of a Regional Buyer for IT:

• Preparing and executing negotiation events - seeking best total cost of ownership (TCO) contracts and beneficial commercial agreements with suppliers as approved by the Procurement Managers.
• Contributing to the global sourcing strategy by implementing the communication and supplier management plan.
• Consolidating and analysing data to support the development of effective strategies within IT Procurement.
• Identifying opportunities and managing projects to achieve objectives, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and delivering measurable results.
• Managing relationships with various stakeholders to integrate category plans and achieve results.

What will make you successful:

• Previous Procurement experience managing a regional or global portfolio, ideally within IT or Digital Marketing categories.
• Experience in risk management, responsible sourcing, and supplier relationship management.
• Demonstrated success in delivering competitive advantage through the development and implementation of sourcing strategies.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with individuals across a complex organization.
• Curiosity, high learning speed and the agility to navigate ambiguity.
• Fluency in English (written and verbal) is essential. Multi-lingual abilities will be advantageous.
