Plant Boiler Technician

Responsibilities:

1. Maintain and operate the boilers to ensure they run in good condition and operate in the most effective and efficient manner during daily operations.
2. Schedule and implement periodic preventive maintenance to reduce unexpected boiler downtime.
3. Prepare and follow up with contractors for necessary repairs, maintenance, and annual inspections by relevant authorities.
4. Ensure a safe, comfortable, and clean working area through periodic maintenance of the areas in and surrounding the boiler house, along with other tasks assigned by the superior.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Certificate, diploma, or equivalent.
2. Prior experience in operating and maintaining utility systems in an industrial plant.
3. Strong knowledge of boilers, chillers, air compressors, and HVAC systems.
4. Basic understanding of safety and regulatory requirements for utility systems.
5. Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
6. Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
