Job Summary:
The person hired for the position of EHS Specialist will be responsible for integrating, implementing, and managing EHS programs and EHS systems in Keysight Technologies. The incumbent needs to use Engineering/Technical/Articulation skills and knowledge of engineering/scientific concepts, procedures, standards, and industry awareness to maintain multi-systems and programs; to identify and resolve EHS issues. The individual will initiate, implement, and complete programs, projects, and activities leading to improve EHS methods, processes and engage employees to mitigate safety hazards within the facility.
Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- A licensed Safety and Health Officer (SHO) to support Keysight to liaise with DOSH on regulatory compliances and audits.
- Support Keysight EHS system/programs/initiatives and EHS workgroups to meet:
- Local regulatory requirements
- Keysight Corporate EHS Objectives and Targets
- EHSMS (ISO14001 & ISO45001) and RBA requirements
- Responsible to support Keysight:
- Quarterly EHSMS Steering Committee
- EHS related audit - including but not limited to audit from Keysight customer, Keysight corporate, local authorities, and insurance company.
- Direct and timely advice and information in all matters related to EHS performance, compliance, trends, and concerns.
- Responds to Keysight and Keysight customer concerns regarding EHS matters.
- Understand Intelex database structure, support implementation/proliferation plan for local EHS operation.
- Manage record retention in compliance with Keysight and local regulatory requirements.
- Support to evaluate, update and implement EHS procedures to ensure compliance with Keysight and local regulatory requirements.
- Support to identify and assess any foreseeable risk arising from work processes and work (Risk & Opportunity). Recommend reasonably practicable measures to eliminate such risk. Implement control measures and safe work procedures.
- Support onsite ERT communication, training, evacuation, and drill.
- Monthly/Quarterly EHSMS review meeting with workgroup.
- EHS onsite inspection on a regular basis.
- Perform Equipment & Machine safety/ Building safety/ Process safety /Layout safety buy-off review as required.
- Responsible for investigating and monitoring of injury, illness, and incident related performance and report to relevant authorities for timely closure. Support the development and implementation of strategic solutions that will improve the performance results as required.
