Relationship Manager, Partnership & Digital Distribution

Principle Duties & Responsibilities:
- The key responsibility is to generate and achieve sales target and grow asset under management from existing and new funds by penetrating into key IUTAs and CUTA platforms.
- Assist the Head of Partnership & Digital Distribution to grow the business by positioning products and managing the relationship with the said channel.
- Implement and oversee end-to-end marketing responsibilities and actively engage all IUTAs and CUTAs to ensure all sales development initiatives and programs are executed, adopted and practiced consistently by sales staff on the ground.
- Constantly look out for unique product ideas to complement the product shelf of the IUTA and CUTA by closely engaging with the channel.
- Implement new product ideas to IUTA and CUTA from HQ perspective down to extensive branch's sales team, generating investment ideas for all channels based on market developments.
- Create necessary content to support sales & marketing campaigns/activities.
- Assist in implementing training and coaching framework to support the development of the sales team, including developing and providing ongoing training to enhance skills and knowledge of the company products/services.
- Work closely with other relevant HODs in developing Training Kit/Sales Tools for existing and new funds in relation to this channel.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
- Forge profitable relationships with IUTAs and broaden account relationships.
- Establish good rapport with the respective sales & frontliners of the IUTAs and CUTAs.
- Ensure effective implementation of any sales initiatives from Head Office and supervise and monitor the effectiveness of the said programs in meeting KPI.
- Develop and implement various campaigns and incentive programs, sales tools for distribution channel staff to actively engage their customers effectively.
- Monitor and ensure sufficient sales support to the financial institutions frontliners.
- Assist in conducting funds briefing and market outlook and resolve any issues or queries from the distributor.
- Ensure effective communication of any enhanced or new implementation of policy.
- Plan, manage, and coordinate sales-related activities.
- Assist in the development and execution of existing/new products to distribution channels.
- Align all initiatives to achieve the company's high conviction sales strategies.
- Consistently look for new ideas and opportunities in growing the business in this channel.
- Provide market intelligence to formulate effective sales strategies to address market competition.
- Ensure compliance while marketing all funds to business partners at all business levels.
- Able to travel for sales & marketing activities/initiatives.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as required.
Qualification:
Preferably a degree or equivalent in Business/Marketing/Economics/Finance/Statistics.
Experience:
- At least 5-7 years of experience preferably in the Fund Management/Sales & Marketing Environment.
- Experience in dealing with banks in selling unit trust funds is required, preferably with experience in dealing and managing sales teams and/or other distribution channels.
Knowledge:
- Familiar with financial and capital markets.
- Exhibit strong analytical prowess, problem-solving skills, and resourcefulness.
- Demonstrates good interpersonal abilities and effective communication skills.
- Good time management skills.
- Proficient in written communication in English and Malay/Mandarin.
- Competent in Microsoft Office Suite, adept at handling and arranging large datasets using pivot tables, charting tools, and more.
- Experience in Bloomberg & Lipper is an added advantage.
Qualities Desired:
- Comprehensive knowledge of investment products & sales is preferred.
- Proactive, organized, and resourceful.
- Strong team player.
