Job description:
In this role at CelcomDigi, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the organization's fundraising efforts, including developing and executing comprehensive funding strategies aligned with the overall goals and objectives, managing relationships with potential investors and lenders, analyzing financial markets, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, all while reporting directly to senior leadership and driving the organization's financial sustainability.

Your Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic financing to support short-term and long-term financial goals
- Lead efforts to secure funding from various sources including negotiation of terms and drafting with local & international banks, rating agencies
- Optimise capital structure by managing debt issuance, refinancing and working capital management
- Build and maintain strong banking relationships, funding partners, auditors
- Monitor financial markets and economic conditions to identify opportunities for funding and capital-raising activities
- Support and provide expertise / strategic advisory to subsidiaries' funding management, corporate finance exercises including compliance to listing requirements
- Actively contribute to high impact strategic initiatives, collaborate with various stakeholders to achieve projects' goals & objectives
- Manage Funding & Projects team and provide guidance and mentorship to support their professional development
- To be involved in special internal projects including research and evaluate investments, financing options and restructuring projects.
Your Merits:
- Experience: 8+ years experience in fundraising with direct dealing with banks, negotiation of financing agreements, knowledge in listing requirements. Ability to think strategically. Ability to work independently.
- Skills: financial analysis, cashflow planning and liquidity management, negotiation skills
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business or related field. Certification: Professional qualifications (e.g. ACCA, CPA, CIMA, CFA) preferred but not required
