Interior Designer

Job Responsibility

1. Proven Experience in Decorating Interior Spaces, including Consultations, Renovations, Space Planning, and New Constructions.
2. Expertise in Layout, Color, Lighting, Material Selection, Custom Furniture, and All Installations.
3. Develop & Coordinate Interior Design Drawing Packages, including Finish Schedules, Material Specifications, Floor Plans, Elevations, and Details.
4. Create & Prepare Layout Plans, Sketches, 3D & 2D Drawings, Models, and Visuals.
5. Draw & Build Floor Plans and Newly Designed Layouts.
6. Modify & Redraw Drawings by Studying Changes in Components, Parts, and Identifications.
7. Ensure Effective Communication Flow between Internal & External Parties.
8. Collaborate & Lead Project Activities, including Conceptual Design, Design Development, and Construction Administration (including Site Visits).
9. Oversee Design Team, including Junior Designers and CAD Team, on a Per-Project Basis.
10. Take Responsibility for Assignments, Investigating Multiple Alternatives to Meet Specified Objectives.

Job Requirements

1. Languages Required: Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Malaysia.
2. Minimum Qualification: Diploma/Advanced Diploma/Higher Diploma in Art, Design, Creative Multimedia, or equivalent.
3. Experience: At least 1 Year of Experience in Interior Design (Fresh Graduates are Welcome to Apply).
4. Proficiency in Design Software: AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, 3D Studio Max (V-ray), Google SketchUp, or other design programs.
5. Ability to Handle Multiple Projects Under Pressure and Meet Deadlines.
6. Strong Sketching and Illustrative Skills to Communicate Design Ideas.
7. Responsible for Documentation of Construction Drawings & Tender Drawing Packages.
8. Creative Talent, Imagination, and Attention to Detail.
9. Self-Directed and Strong Problem-Solving Skills.
10. Commercial Design Experience is Required.
11. Excellent Portfolio of Previous Work (if available).
