Responsible for developing and improving Total Quality Malaysia Factory by initiating and implementing continuous improvement activities.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform all duties in full compliance with all laws, safety and environmental regulations, and in a manner consistent with company policies and procedures.
Understand the problems customers and end users are experiencing with product quality, and work with the production team (or other relevant teams) to carry out corrective/preventive actions.
Work with internal teams to increase customer satisfaction by improving quality.
Responsible for driving Proactive Quality Analysis (PQA) and analyzing trends of quality to reduce quality and process variation to achieve KPIs.
Work with Global Lab network team to ensure all measurement SOPs are fulfilled according to global standardization and ensure the maintenance of measurement devices.
Responsible for overseeing and leading any customer meetings and internal meetings (Factory and Terminals) related to quality performance review and quality improvement plan programs.
Work closely with Product Development and Operations team in specification review and setup, and quality control for new trial and product transfer projects.
Review all product quality plans in Raflatrack and revise if needed according to change control and customer feedback as part of quality control.
Responsible for reviewing and establishing quality control for any new and existing raw materials related to new trials and customer feedback, and work with Raw Material Claim person-in-charge for any improvements and specification establishment.
Able to support product quality projects together with operations and continuous improvement team.
Compile and analyze factory level monthly Total Quality performance and related information for management reporting and improvement action plans.
Responsible for leadership, coaching, and development of staff and their roles working in QA and TCS.
Demonstrated ability to lead teams and projects is required. Function as an effective team leader and promote harmonious and efficient working relationships internally and externally.
Perform other duties as assigned by the superior.
Support and ensure ISO compliance and requirements as well as support customer audit activities.
Drive quality improvement projects and create awareness at the factory level by conducting quality sharing and training.
Support Market’s claim handling and coordination with QE from other sites and customer visits if needed.
Assist in overseeing calibration programs and ensure ISO compliance.

Commit to factory safety culture and KPIs, e.g., near miss/observations/safety work reporting.
QUALIFICATION & SKILLS REQUIRED
Experience, knowledge, and skills
A diploma/degree in an Engineering-related discipline.
Minimum 1 – 3 years of working experience in the Quality department in a similar role, with a preference for 3 - 5 years.
Good communication with customers, suppliers, and regional affiliates.
High level of interpersonal skills and able to lead internally.
Good teamwork and possess leadership qualities.
Analytical and good problem-solving skills.
Able to travel as business requires.
Proficiency in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
