Warehouse Assistant

About the role

Finbond Heavy Machinery Sdn Bhd is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Warehouse Assistant to join our dynamic team in Subang Jaya, Selangor. As a Warehouse Assistant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the efficient operation of our warehouse and logistics functions. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our company.

What you'll be doing

1. Receive and release all types of goods in warehouse at the correct point of stacking area.
2. Inform superior any moving items that in low quantity.
3. Verify all goods arrived as purchase order, delivery note and ensure quantity received is correct.
4. Inform Superior if goods received are damaged, unacceptable quantity, or incorrect items.
5. Perform daily housekeeping on cleanliness of all areas, keeping storage areas clean & tidy and in strict compliance with hygiene regulations and ensure all racks are labelled with correct stock descriptions.
6. Ensure the quantity requested always matches job sheet or sales order.
7. Ensure Material Issued to Mechanic (MIM) is checked and signed-off by the person collecting the goods.
8. Assist inventory audits to determine inventory levels and needs.
9. Maintain all goods are in position of store location layout as regulated.
10. Receive, upload and shelf all supply accordingly.
11. Perform stock related duties like returning, packing, labelling and stocks always recording without fail.
12. Rotate stock following First In / First Out (FIFO) method and ensure quantities accuracy.
13. Assist in warehouse operations (e.g., packing, loading, and unloading cargo).
14. Perform any other duties as assigned by the management or supervisors.

What we're looking for

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a similar warehouse or logistics role
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
• Good numerical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
• Physical fitness to handle various warehouse duties, including lifting and moving heavy items
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems and equipment (e.g., forklift, pallet jack) would be an advantage
