Steel Structural Engineer

PAKAR SEATING is internationally renowned for its Grandstand designs, especially in the permanent and temporary Grandstand System. We are a grandstand manufacturer and designer.

What You’ll Do:
Verify structural steel integrity and produce detailed calculation reports.
Assist in technical designs, monitor, and review shop drawings for quality and accuracy.
Design steelworks including I-beams, structural hollow sections, and rosette scaffolding.
Support the creation of detailed shop drawing item lists for grandstands.
Oversee QA and QC processes in our China factory.
Collaborate with China fabricators, providing technical assistance.
Assist with the installation process at overseas project sites.

What We’re Looking For:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, registered under BEM.
• At least 5 years of experience in steelworks.
• Proficiency in English, Malay, and Chinese (fluency in Chinese is a plus).
• Familiarity with Eurocodes 3 design codes of practice.
• Skilled in Staad.pro and AutoCAD.
• Willingness and ability to work overseas.
