Responsible for working with various cross-functional teams to deliver the project as per scope, schedule, and budget without compromising safety and quality per project specifications.
Drive project optimization plans to save costs with detailed budget planning and run value engineering.
Steer and drive project progress to hit financial targets and corporate ambitions.
Establish team reporting and publish team performance or project progress status.
Develop, supervise, and/or review designs of commercial and industrial scale solar systems, including but not limited to the electrical, structural, and mechanical aspects of the projects.
Work with the design team to confirm engineering design to decide DC equipment and AC interconnection locations at the site and connections to the existing electrical system.
Provide technical support for the review/preparation of proposals, including customer/internal stakeholder meetings during the project cycle.
Provide technical direction to the project during project kick-off, execution, delivery, testing, PV system commissioning, and performance monitoring.
Implement improvement plans and strategies to improve ERP systems, KPI dashboards, and various project management tools.
Make technology recommendations based on project site location and geographic conditions.
Requirements:
Minimum 3-5 years of project management experience in Solar, Electrical, or Construction industry. Experience with LSS projects will be an added advantage.
Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Project, Excel, and ERP systems.
Ability to exercise judgment and discretion in giving timely and anticipated responses.
Demonstrate skills to lead technical teams to resolve technical challenges and complex problems.
Possess strong data analytics and decision-making skills.
Knowledge and experience in Solar PV systems will be an added advantage.
Able to travel between various Borneo regions (Sabah, Sarawak, and Brunei) and West Malaysia.
