Assistant Land Surveyor

Job Responsibilities:

1. Assist in Field Surveys: Work alongside senior surveyors to conduct field surveys using a variety of equipment, including total stations, GPS receivers, GPR, EML and levels.
2. Setting Up Equipment: Assist in the setup and calibration of surveying equipment prior to conducting fieldwork.
3. Taking Measurements: Use chains, tapes, rods, or other measurement tools to accurately measure distances and elevations.
4. Boundary Marking: Help in the placement of markers, stakes, and flags to mark boundaries, reference points, and survey lines.
5. Data Collection: Collect data and record field observations accurately and efficiently.
6. Terrain Analysis: Assist in the collection of topographic data and other relevant information to support surveying activities.
7. Maintaining Equipment: Ensure that surveying equipment is properly maintained, cleaned, and stored after each use.
8. Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team members.

Assistant Land Surveyor's entry-level position offers an exciting opportunity to gain practical experience in the field of land surveying while contributing to a variety of projects. The successful candidate will work closely with our surveying team to assist in the accurate measurement and mapping of land areas.

Job Requirements:

1. High school diploma or degree in Land Surveying, Geomatic or equivalent required.
2. Previous experience in land surveying or related field is advantageous.
3. Familiarity with basic surveying equipment and techniques is a plus.
4. Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.
5. Physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
6. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
