Site Safety Supervisor

Job Responsibility

RESPONSIBILITY:

1. Ensure full compliance with Malaysia OSHA and any other relevant local legislation.
2. Stay updated on DOSH guidelines and industry standards to implement in workplace policies.
3. Conduct regular workplace inspections and safety audits to identify hazards and ensure safety protocols are followed.
4. Inspect and ensure all machinery, tools, and equipment meet safety standards.
5. Conduct safety training sessions and workshops for employees.
6. Record and investigate incidents to determine causes and handle worker’s compensation claims.
7. Conduct regular safety committee meetings.
8. Perform any other safety duties or responsibilities assigned from time to time.

Job Requirements

REQUIREMENTS:

1. At least a Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
2. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
3. Able to converse in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
4. Certifications: Certified Site Safety Supervisor (SSS) by DOSH Malaysia Yellow Book.
5. 0-3 years in a safety-related role, with experience in the construction industry.
6. Strong knowledge of Malaysia Occupational Health and Safety regulations.
