JR47669 Industrial Engineer
As an AT (Assembly & Test) Central Planning Capital Engineer at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be part of the Central Planning team that is primarily focused on Model of Record (MOR) business processes, scenario studies, Capital business process and ROI analysis. You will be responsible for central coordination and review of the network response on capital to supply chain and business unit strategic loading requests. You will also be responsible for driving the Continuous Improvement Program (CIP) and Best Known Methods (BKM) to further optimize Capital processes. You will also partner with SIG, Site team and Supply Chain to optimize site response to Network requirements and drive improvement in business processes to support business objectives.
Responsibilities and Tasks
Manage Assembly and Test Capital across the planning horizon based on Capex guidance.
Serve as central liaison with stakeholders (Central Planning, Sites, Central Engineering, Global Facilities, Procurement, Capital Finance) to determine and review AT Capital response to fulfill Business Plan and organization strategies.
Drive continuous improvement programs, standardization, and benchmarking activities for Capital processes.
Support and/or recommend metrics.
Support and/or recommend scenario studies for Capex optimization.
Manage and drive Capital audits to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
SIG Equipment/tooling capacity planning and collaborations with SIG (Boise and Penang team) to support scenario planning, strategic planning, and business plans.
Prioritize, track shipment of SIG equipment and tooling, and maintain communication and priority with SIG team, escalation when necessary.
Publish weekly SIG forecast demand/requests based on CTM solve and monthly SIG forecast demand in every MSR cycle.
Support on SIG flex capacity review and analysis for Micron business needs.
Assist with ATCP/SIG key project to enable flexibility and in-time reaction to demand changes.
Improve visibility and tracking, automation of reports and data.
Publish report and monitor KPI.
Participate in meetings and cross-functional projects as a subject matter expert.
Assist with analysis of current and future processes/systems.
Complete tasks by assigned due date.
Communicate status of tasks.
Report issues, risks, changes, and quality concerns to the project manager and team.
Assist with documentation and training needs for new processes.

Requirement
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
1-2 years experience in semiconductor manufacturing environment.
Good in written communication and presentation skills.
Highly motivated to work in a dynamic environment, with good integrity and character.
Ability to multi-task and organize work systematically in meeting deadlines without compromising on quality.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications, etc.
