Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Management Intern

This is your role. What part will you play?

The internship in EHS Management department will introduce the Siemens Processes, instructions. The main aim will be to support the Head of EHS to:

1. Prepare materials related to Newcomer Training.
2. Collect Key Performance Indicators.
3. Carry out inspections, collect EHS data and provide support related to EHS activities.
4. Support the department EHS officer and EHS manager in EHS process updates and compliance.
5. Support in Monthly Key Performance Indicators collection.
6. Work with the team in Integrated Management System to roll out training material preparation and compiling permits to work.
7. Carry out inspections, monitor the inspection replies, review hazards, and risk for new activities/accident-related activities.
8. Monitor EHS related KPIs or key figures related to projects assigned.
9. Define target values or characteristics as per project target agreement (PM agreement) to be achieved.
10. Identify qualification requirements and initiate training for project employees with regards to knowledge of EHS methods to be applied, process awareness and expert knowledge.
11. Plan and support project audits, assessments, reviews and participate in status meetings.

What you need to make real what matters:

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in safety and health courses.
• Willingness to learn Siemens culture and develop/create training tracker and online permit to work to increase efficiency of the department.
• Work independently and able to perform tasks with minimal supervision but also be a good team player who can work well in a multi-cultural environment.
• Good knowledge in MS Office applications.
• Own transportation.
• Good command of English (spoken & written).
