Perform and oversee all aspects of sampling and monitoring to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations governing wastewater treatment processes and sludge management.
Assist with the maintenance, installation, and inspection of new sewerage lines and services.
Supervise and monitor routine maintenance and repairs of the plant, pump stations, and related components/devices, ensuring adherence to as-built drawings and original specifications.
Conduct assessments and inspections of the wastewater treatment plant to ensure operational efficiency.
Execute all tasks in compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) regulations.
Manage and oversee spare part utilization by routine maintenance contractors.
Collect and analyze operational data, formulating action plans to minimize breakdowns in the sewage treatment plant (STP) system.
Identify and recommend the latest technologies and best practices to enhance service levels for clients.
Prepare detailed technical proposals for internal and external client upgrading works.
Ensure all maintenance activities comply with the Service Level Agreement (SLA-STP) and meet the performance criteria for all STP systems under maintenance obligations.
Conduct operational meetings with staff and subcontractors to address issues related to STP routine maintenance and projects.
Attend meetings with clients and local authorities (monthly, quarterly, yearly, or as required).
Assist the Head of Mechanical, Electrical, and Environmental (MEE) or Project Manager with any tasks related to MEE’s scope of work.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 3 years of experience in Sewerage Treatment Plant.
Competent STP Engineer with Certified Environmental Professionals in Sewage Treatment Plant (CePSTPO) and Certified Environmental Professionals in Schedule Waste Management (CePSWaM).
Able to deal with related authorities, including DOE, SPAN, DOSH, CePSTRO-EiMAS.
