Job description

The Regional Sales Manager South East Asia reports to the Senior Director Sales, EMEA & APAC of Identiv IoT. As Sales Manager South East Asia, your primary responsibility will be to spearhead growth and revenue by strategically managing existing accounts and fostering the development of UHF RFID, NFC, and BLE solutions. This pivotal role demands a visionary leader with an extensive market understanding, unparalleled communication skills, and a proven track record in the meticulous cultivation of both existing and new business opportunities.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  1. Elevate the strategic management of existing accounts to optimize revenue and foster enduring partnerships.
  2. Cultivate relationships with key decision-makers, ensuring client satisfaction and loyalty.
  3. Collaborate cross-functionally to tailor solutions and services to meet the evolving needs of strategic accounts.
  4. Conduct comprehensive market analysis, identifying opportunities for growth within existing accounts.
  5. Devise and execute a meticulous business development strategy, aligning with organizational goals.
  6. Remain vigilant of industry trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging technologies to refine strategic approaches.
  7. Collaborate closely with product development teams, focusing on enhancing solutions for both existing and new strategic accounts.
  8. Drive continuous innovation in solutions, maintaining a competitive edge in the market.
  9. Craft and implement targeted sales strategies to achieve revenue objectives within existing accounts.
  10. Lead negotiations and contract discussions with clients, ensuring the alignment of solutions with their evolving needs.
  11. Provide guidance and support to the sales team for effective implementation of business development plans.
  12. Identify and establish strategic partnerships to augment the company's presence within existing accounts.
  13. Collaborate with external organizations to expand market reach and enhance the value proposition for strategic accounts.
  14. Foster a collaborative and innovative culture by working closely with marketing, product development, and operations teams.
  15. Ensure seamless execution of business development plans, particularly in alignment with the needs of existing accounts.
  16. Regularly prepare detailed reports on business development activities, progress, and key performance indicators.
  17. Conduct in-depth analysis of sales and market data to refine and optimize strategies for both existing and new accounts.

Minimum Requirements:

  1. Applicants must be currently residing in Malaysia or Thailand.
  2. Willingness to travel worldwide, mainly South East Asia (up to 70% of working time).
  3. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Business, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
  4. Minimum of two years experience in account management and business development.
  5. Proficiency with Salesforce.
  6. In-depth knowledge of RFID, NFC, and BLE technologies and applications.
  7. Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  8. Strategic mindset with the ability to assess market trends, customer needs, and competition to develop and implement effective pipeline management strategies.
  9. Experience in forecasting and setting realistic, achievable targets for pipeline growth, conversion rates, and revenue generation.
