Quality Assurance Tester

We are looking for a meticulous QA Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and functionality of our products. You will collaborate with developers, designers, and product managers to create seamless user experiences by identifying and rectifying potential issues before release. As a QA Tester, you will champion testing best practices and help deliver solutions that meet the highest standards.

What you will be doing

• Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases, both manual and automated, to validate the functionality, performance, and security of our web and mobile applications.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand product requirements and ensure they are testable. Identify, document, and track bugs through to resolution, providing detailed information to help the development team address issues efficiently.
• Conduct various types of testing, including functional, integration, regression, performance, and usability testing.
• Work with CI/CD pipelines to ensure robust automated test coverage throughout the deployment process.
• Analyze testing results to pinpoint root causes of issues and provide actionable feedback for improvement.
• Stay up to date with emerging tools, techniques, and trends in software testing to continuously improve processes and practices.
• Maintain and expand automated test frameworks using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or similar.
• Conduct load and stress testing to evaluate system performance and stability under varying conditions.

Who we are looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of professional experience as a QA Tester, QA Engineer, or a similar role. Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and quality assurance methodologies.
• Experience with load and stress testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) and a solid understanding of performance testing methodologies.
• Proficient in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Experience with bug tracking tools such as JIRA or Bugzilla.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in version control systems, particularly Git.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Huawei) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus point.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies is a plus point.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment practices is a plus point.
