We are looking for Language Interpreters:

Position

1) English - Nepali - English

Employment Details

Period of Employment: Full Time (1 Year Contract renewable)

Working Hours: 40 hours per week / based on schedule / (Permanent night shift)

Work Station: Work from home

Job Requirements

1. Excellent English and Fluent in Nepali (Able to read & write)
2. Speak clearly in both languages using proper pronunciation, enunciation, and polite expressions
3. Malaysian Nationals / Permanent Residents with sound knowledge in both languages
4. Must be working from home 9 hours anytime following the required schedule by the client (shift will fall anytime between 8pm – 8 am; 9 hours shift inclusive of an hour break)
5. Own home internet (stable internet), minimum of 5MB download and 1MB upload speed
6. Need own mobile phone (Android Version 6 and above or iOS 12 and above)
7. Willing to work permanent night shift and on public holidays/weekends

Salary and Benefits

Salary: RM 30 Per hour / around RM 5200.00 per month approximately

Entitled to 2 days off in a week which will be rotating any day

Public holiday and off days will be as per the country served (US)

Job Description

1. Answer calls promptly and conduct interpretation in a friendly and professional manner
2. Render correct concepts and meanings according to the conventions of established interpretation protocol, avoiding omissions or additions
3. Speak clearly in both languages using proper pronunciation, enunciation, and polite expressions
4. Maintain a professional demeanor throughout the call at all times
5. Maintain punctuality and availability during scheduled work hours
6. Follow client instructions, in compliance with protocol to ensure client expectations are met with the Limited English-speaking Person (LEP), avoiding interaction with the LEP without the client’s permission
7. Purely interpretation (from English to Nepali to English)
8. No dealing with escalation or providing resolution
