Assistant Store Manager/Store Manager (Malaysia Pahang/KL)
To maximize sales productivity while nurturing, developing, and motivating a strong Sales Associate team and creating a memorable and pleasant customer shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities
Directly responsible for sales and profit performance in assigned store.
Maintains a welcoming environment that generates customer traffic and builds loyalty by exceeding customer’s expectations.
Provides continual feedback to the Merchandising team.
Understands and prioritizes input to the Merchandising team, Product Presentation & Creative Presentation team regarding merchandise presentation.
Supervises and develops store staff to meet sales, margin, expense, and customer service standards.
Responsible for ongoing evaluation, development, and training of store teams.
Directs execution of promotional strategies and programs to support sales and profit objectives.
Manages the store team to maximize sales and profit performance.
Establishes weekly sales goals for the team and monitors performance.
Establishes and monitors all store standards in collaboration with Operations Manager and Floor Manager.
Responsible for achieving store shrinkage goals and implementing Asset Protection procedures.
Coaches and mentors store team to support exceptional customer service standards.
Identifies potential improvements in store operations and merchandise flow.
Communicates special requirements relating to customer needs or competition.
Maintains appropriate and balanced inventory levels.
Provides guidance in the implementation of internal fixtures and merchandise presentation practices.
Partners with the creative team to review store merchandise layouts.
Ensures adequate store maintenance and housekeeping.
Establishes sales and performance criteria.
Creates programs to motivate personnel to build unit sales and volume of transactions.
Directs orientation and on-the-job training of new store management personnel.
Manages and evaluates implementation of customer service activities and policies.
Monitors development of client books to expand the customer base.
