Job description

We are on a mission to disrupt the personal care industry and we need a dynamic, creative, and strategic Brand Innovation Manager to help us drive growth and innovation across Southeast Asia! If you are passionate about uncovering consumer insights and launching products that truly make an impact, this role is for you.

As a Brand Innovation Manager, you will lead and execute game-changing innovations that elevate our brand and product strategies across multiple markets. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, marketing and etc. to bring bold ideas to life.

What You’ll Do:

1. Innovation Leadership:

  • Lead the development of a 5-year innovation funnel for all categories, collaborating with R&D and VIC.
  • Conduct ideation sessions and workshops focused on product, packaging, communication, and promotions that align with our brand platform and business objectives.

2. Strategic Brand & Market Planning:

  • Develop and implement tailored marketing plans for individual markets within your portfolio.
  • Analyze marketing executions and provide actionable recommendations to optimize performance.

3. Brand Management:

  • Own the development and execution of brand platforms and strategies, including category positioning and consistent brand expression across regions.
  • Ensure brand guidelines are met to achieve consistent and impactful brand presence.

4. Product Launches & Relaunches:

  • Oversee the execution of product/category launches, ensuring all key marketing strategies (7Ps) are in place.
  • Manage post-launch assessments and refine strategies based on consumer feedback and market performance.

5. Consumer & Competitive Analysis:

  • Utilize research and insights to identify consumer needs, future trends, and innovation opportunities.
  • Analyze competitor strategies and industry trends to ensure our products stay ahead of the competition.

6. Annual Strategic Overview:

  • Deliver annual category views that cover market growth, competitive landscape, and category dynamics, offering strategic recommendations for the year ahead.

7. Budget Management:

  • Take ownership of the category budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources to meet brand objectives.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Education: Degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5-8 years in FMCG, healthcare, or personal care marketing, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership role.
  • Skills:
  • Strong understanding of product, pricing, packaging, distribution, and positioning.
  • Ability to work with data, analyze consumer insights, and use metrics to optimize strategies.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to develop innovative solutions and think outside the box.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiar with the latest marketing trends and best practices.
