About the Company:
Randstad is partnering up with a leading Singapore-based Data Center. They are looking for a Regional Tax Manager to join their expanding team.

About the Job:

  • Support the management of the Group's external tax advisors and oversee all aspects of tax compliance, ensuring the timely and accurate review and/or preparation of tax returns where necessary.
  • Assist in researching and implementing various tax strategies, offering suitable tax recommendations. This includes collaborating closely with stakeholders to understand the tax implications of business operations, ensuring that tax needs are identified, considered, and communicated.
  • Coordinate the preparation of transfer pricing documentation for the group, ensuring compliance with transfer pricing regulations.
  • Develop, maintain, and implement tax structures in alignment with corporate tax strategies and policies to meet tax obligations according to local tax rules.
  • Monitor changes in tax regulations, assess their impact on the Group, and provide advice on their tax implications.
  • Review financial reports, track revenue and expenditure trends, ensure the accuracy of tax provisions, and optimize the Group's tax position during financial reporting cycles.
  • Conduct independent research on global tax rates and regimes to gain an understanding of country-to-country treaties.
  • Provide both short-term and long-term global tax planning strategies that align with the global business expansion plans for the next 3-5 years.
  • Leverage a strong network of tax specialists and tax offices.
  • Perform other ad-hoc assignments as required.

Job Requirements:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, ICAEW, or equivalent), ideally with experience from a Big 4 tax function.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in regional tax functions (real estate/data center industry preferred), ideally within an international company, working with cross-functional and multi-national teams.
  • Strong tax knowledge with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to resolve complex accounting and tax issues.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
