Job Title: HR and Admin Intern
Location: Georgetown, Penang

Since 1991, Toling Corporation has served more than 1,000 customers from different industrial backgrounds. In commodity plastics trading, it provides various grades of polyolefin for injection, extrusion, blow moulding and blow film process. As for engineering plastics, they have been working closely with clienteles from various industries ranging from medical, automotive, E&E and industrial products.

Job Purpose:
The HR and Admin Intern will support HR and administrative functions by assisting in various tasks related to recruitment, employee engagement, office management, and business operations. This role offers hands-on experience and exposure to HR practices, office administration, and organizational operations in a dynamic work environment.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage and Maintain Office Supplies and Equipment:
    Monitor inventory levels of office supplies and reorder as necessary; coordinate maintenance and repairs of office equipment; develop and maintain a system for tracking and organizing office supplies; handle general documentation and paperwork; oversee the upkeep of office equipment; assist in managing office-related documentation and tasks.
  1. Human Resources Management:
    Support recruitment processes, including job postings, screening resumes, and arranging interviews; assist in conducting induction and orientation programs; monitor and update HR records; assist in planning company events and team-building activities; support in identifying and managing training and development needs for employees.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-directed and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Energetic, proactive, and eager to take on new projects and ideas.
  • Availability for a minimum of 4-6 months internship period.
  • Able to work in Georgetown, Penang.
